About This Artist

Trevor Ah Hang

Trevor is originally from South Australia and is a member of the Nauo Nation, the Indigenous people of the Eyre Peninsula. He moved to the Geelong region from Canberra in 2005.

Trevor is new to Art Gusto and has come to the studio with an eagerness to explore a wide variety of art materials and techniques. Before embarking on his creative journey, Trevor’s academic life was one of anthropology, archaeology and computer science. He brings a passion for technology, historical and cultural references as well as an engineer’s precision to his quest for using art materials as a means to communicate his ideas. As a person who was diagnosed with Autism later in life, Trevor is using art as a way to break down barriers between himself and the outside world.
