Jess is a confident mark maker. She works with determination and a directness that gives her work its distinctive identity. Social comments or merely objects that take her interest appear in her drawings. Pattern is important and she uses pattern as she uses mediums; as ordered chaos within the one piece from acrylic paint, pastel pencil and markers and never has difficulty filling the page.

Jess is an emerging artist and has just enrolled this year in a Certificate II in Visual Art.
